You could call it a Heritage Special or maybe Geneva Special?

The OEM mats are pretty weak, and they don't stay in place at all.

No offense taken by me, but to me it's like your friends not telling you when you got food stuck in your teeth. I'd be more concerned if someone didn't say something, and if it's something that doesn't bother the owner, then no harm no foul.

But what if the pinstripes were misaligned or panels didn't sit right, etc. Someone catches what someone else missed so it can get addressed instead of just ignored because it's a new vehicle.

Vehicle is gorgeous none the less and I'm quite envious, but when ordering one with heated seats them not getting the buttons cockeyed is definitely going to be a point that's brought up with the dealer.

Seeing the before and after of the floor mats though is an amazing difference. I mean in looking at the ones from cocomats vs the factory, you'd think the factory ones were knock offs that kind of fit. The cocomat version looks like it belongs.

Exactly. "Mean" is slamming somebody's choice of color, options, etc. not pointing out a factory f*ck up that can and should be addressed. Unless we screwed upandcthevowner requested and loves his misaligned, cock-eyed seat heat buttons, 😂.

Thanks man.....I appreciate your comment.

Don't worry, I don't take any comments too seriously on this forum.

It's all good....and for the record, I have no intention of getting it corrected.

This is getting good. I love this forum. Ok, if you really meant it as constructive criticism, then I'm in the wrong. I've already apologized. But I didn't interpret it that way. Are you really serious you think this should be fixed? And you guys think the owner is not capable of noticing this himself, that this has to be pointed out. Really? Ken I still love you because you also don't like Trump.

I've said enough about this. Whoever wants the last word can have it.

Have a good evening everybody.

Did you get the mats custom made or find them online?

Draggin: I think he mentioned he got them from cocomats.com I know someone in the past had sent templates in to them to get those custom made and now that they've made them they have the pattern on file for others to reference when ordering. I forget if it was Polar himself that sent that in initially.

Sportster: He said himself he hadn't noticed it, that type of thing is never noticed by some and jumps out to others, just depends on how you perceive things. While this could be considered a boutique vehicle, I would think that considering the cost itself it might not be too much to ask to employ a template so that the buttons aren't just plopped in in a "Good enough" fashion. I'd have to say there is a point when character ends and laziness kicks in. Polar has said he's fine with it, for me it'll be something I make point to mention to the dealer when ordering.

That said, I also don't like Trump, and I'm in Texas. Does that count for anything?

1. Could also seem worse due to the wide angle camera angle... distortion is a funny thing.
2. FWIW *all* factory seat heat buttons are misplaced IMHO. Far too easy to knock on and off. Should be in front of the gearshift!
