No

Way too nice, reliable and desirable

Vulcain got on my radar when I followed Revue Thommen Cricket models. Interesting watches on a similar level to the top names. Price erosion must relate to the huge marketing budget of the others. It's the name not technology or design driving the markets.

Bought a new watch the other day. Goes well with the Morgan and did not cost a fortune.

Me too. Only own one though. Steel, 1960's. Lovely old thing.

All a bit outdated though. 8 alarms and a weather forecast on my pebble round!

Fascinating thread! Speaking as one who uses a Pebble Time for work (calendar notifications are important for me) and a Casio Waveceptor for weekends (Rugby time signal in a 1990s LCD look) I cannot claim to be in this game at all - OK, except for a 1970's mechanical Roamer Searock Automatic from my youth - but I certainly like the idea (and reasonable pricing at the bottom end) of the CW range, with a nod to the Tudor Rolex-alternatives .

Thanks to all the thread contributors for the great read!

Tempting stuff on those websites.
I stick with my Casio edifice for now as I have too many watches already.

Superb watch the Aquanaut - just bought a blueface Nautilus for my son on his 18th, similarly understated Genta design.
