Guys - you need to translate the "bongo speak" test track means the road route the factory use as a test run - new car means a car off the production line ready for supply to a new owner. It seems a perfectly normal predelivery run when something failed either mechanical or human  Nasty one to explain to Steve Morris though!!!!!!

Morgan take new cars out on a test route as part of the final checks. Damn good idea. A nice mix of roads with bends, hills, junctions, road surfaces. They can then check that there are sufficient rattles, leaks etc! Only kidding!  In factory tests are only a preliminary to get the engine running and basic " is everything working re lights etc.". When a garage has worked on a car I would hope they did a test drive too. New brakes? Short drive to test and bed in etc.. I have a route I use for a test drive. Quiet road so no traffic worries. Straight stretch for brake test, steering feel. Using the same route also enables the feel of the car to be compared before and after. I adjusted my new shocks by tests there as I am aware of the road surface/bumps. I am sure Morgan will sort out this incident. I doubt if the press will do an update though, unless the unlucky home owner is a pillock who will expect huge compensation in an embellished claim.

I am sure it will get sorted and hopefully to everyone's satisfaction.
Also, let's not forget that Bongo owners can be very passionate about their vehicles. There is an active owners club, regular meets and I know someone who is as enthusiastic about their Bongo as I am about my 4/4. Are they any good with Neoprene ?
Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

In my business I work on a system that if it's gone wrong once, it can happen again however unlikely so you try to mitigate it by putting a system in to not let it happen again
Absolutely, pretty standard practice in any Quality Management approach, especially Lean Manufacturing. Normally, the way it works is that when something goes wrong a "Kaizen Event" is declared, and a Root-Cause Analysis is done (We call it "Asking the 5 'Whys'?") to get to the bottom of how the problem occurred and what events led up to it happening. Then you redesign the process to ensure it can't happen again, retrain everyone involved to make sure they don't repeat the behaviour pattern that led to the failure, and off you go. Process engineering done properly. That terrible! Using Kaizen the phrase "They all do that Sir" would never be uttered again. Kaizen in a factory using wooden bucks and forming aluminium panels by hand! Likely they would think it someone sneezing!

Well, I hope that the potential owner or the owner of the Bongo aren't looking at the site. From speculation of who the owner is to rubbishing someone's sole means of transport AND checking up on the car with the DVLA , leaves a sour taste in my mouth.
Sorry....I'm not normally prudish but this one annoys me.
