hi ewn thanks for the welcome yes it has gone a little global still no one from nz lol i have a good scottish friend here who reminds me to call him scottish and not scotch as it makes him grumpy hope you get plenty of mog driving weather up there we are just heading into autumn which should give some excellent top down (naturally) driving

Do these two links help you identify the lights? Lucas LR6 Spots Headlights Given your 146mm measurement is 5.75" I suspect you are looking for LR6's. These are not easy to find (rear mounted). They also had two tops (upstanding) as on mine and a Lucas "button" badge on the top (in green). I have one of these if it helps. I spent time on Ebay and eventually got some NOS ones. Try this link to Ebay (worldwide serch). Most are either in poor condition or bottom mounted. Sometimes you get lucky.

I have been searching for years with the hope of finding a good set of these lamps. Not much luck so far on this side of the pond. My car was originally equipped with them. They "vanished"  during the few months the car was in the original purchaser's ownership; I purchased it in 1970. The vacant holes in the wings serve as a constant reminder to never abandon my quest...
