I'm now onto my 4th day in a row of driving the Morgan to work (it may not be as glamorous as the Lap of Scotland but it will have to do when I have work commitments) and wanted to mention a strange phenomenon.
Today, each and every motorcyclist I passed (coming in the opposite direction) gave me the nod that I believe is reserved for other motorcyclists. You know
the nod, as in the nod that has to make do in the absences of the secret handshake.
Has anyone else experienced this? Very strange... welcome but strange.
I also had the standard fare: people looking at the car to the degree that you're sure they are going to drive off the road. When stuck in traffic, groups of kids, on their way to school, yelling positive comments at you (today I actually had two of them bowing to the car

- I kid you not!) but the biker one is new for me.
Anyone else experience this?
