You need to ask yourself "what is the fashion amongst Morganistas?" and I think you have already found the answer. Along with the WW2 flying jacket goes the bonnet strap and the badge bar to give the true period image. Oh dear, I'm completely out of touch then. I have none of those things! ~iw

For me a pair of 5 inch spots is enough. Not a badge person.

You need to ask yourself, "It's my car, how would I like it to look?"

The second photo does not have a leaf anywhere . I dont have any trees next to mine they are along the lane . Yet its a full time job from Sept to April never a day I dont pick or sweep leafs off the garage floor . Was thinking they must grow on the mog frame , or to the know all public the wooden chassis . Just swept a load of hay up last night and not a horse in the area come to think of it , its an off the road lane handy for lovers etc may not have been hay just a stallion and his oats. Before they put street lights in I had to blast the car horn to shift them could not get into my garage . One chap was well away having a knee tremble'r one night up against my roller garage door . As we came along the lane main beam on his ass I pulled out the remote control for the garage door . "June said you are not " she did not get anymore words out , I had pressed the button and the door was on its way up . Wonder what the dolly bird thought of that for a bum tremble'r he ran off trying to pull his trousers up with the woman ahead of him. Also when dad was ill there was a regular small van belonging to a blinds company and it got closer to the my garage so I asked him to keep clear of the garge I may need to shoot out to the hospital . He had been seeing another woman for a while , bloody good excuse telling his wife he was out measuring window for blinds . I got a mouthful of crap . So that night I phoned his place of works head office and left the van reg the time and what he had been doing and for how long . Funny he never returned. I was looking back at some old photos from when I first got the Mog nearly three years ago and comparing it to how it is now and I just wonder whether I actually prefer the cleaner look of the front end without the spots and badges I'm just wondering whether to de-clutter - what do my learn-ned fellows think ? This is a photo from when I first got the Mog, my only addition being the bonnet strap And this is how it is now ( just before I fitted the wind deflectors) You need to ask yourself "what is the fashion amongst Morganistas?" and I think you have already found the answer. Along with the WW2 flying jacket goes the bonnet strap and the badge bar to give the true period image. Less sure about big spotlights - they are more the fashion amongst the Escort Mk 1 rally types. Is that rust on your front bumper or reflection of tree leaves? I couldnt live with those wing mirrors.

When does not having any bonnet belts come back into fashion. There are thousands of us out there who are holding our breath so that we can be innies instead of outies! Also, is five badges also soooooo last year? I only have four so I'm hoping I am only looking a bit behind the times...

To be a real fashionista, you must have the uncluttered "no exterior door handles" look.

I like the badges and the spots - although I agree smaller spots would be good - but I think the extras make a car "yours" - the badges on mine mean something to me and I swap them occasionally. I have 2 small matt black spots + 5 badges on the grille. These make the car "mine" - decluttered it could be anybody`s.
