I find the whine disappears above 60 mph. Not really a practical proposition for most of my driving.

Bunny if you have one of the original rear sprockets they wear out at around that mileage and get noisy , have you checked yours lately ?

Mine's been pretty quiet (dealer's mechanic says it's the quietest one he's heard), since I hit 1,200 miles. She's getting her 4,000 mile service right now as I type from the diner across the street from MidAtlantic Morgan. Looking forward to listening to her with her fresh oil on the way home. Six months old next week and she's perfect!

Still sounds pretty quiet. No quieter. Mild hum between 45-60MPH

Who wears earplugs? Mine earplugs seem to keep the bevel box noise out, but let the engine noise in. Noticed last night when I pulled an ear plug out to listen for noises before I got home.
