What are the does and don'ts of cleaning the rear screen please?

Any recommended cleaning materials and those to avoid please?

I appear to have attracted a small grease smear on the screen. What to do?

Thanks in anticipation.

I recommend to use standard dish-detergent, warm water and a soft cloth.

Avoid anything that can scratch so as Hanes suggests, I soft clean cloth with a bit of mild detergent to get greasy mark off

Autoglym have a product called Fast Glass that is also suitable for clear acrylics and comes in a liquid spray but will be no better than above for grease marks

Just an afterthought

Because the clear plastic is so soft and can scratch so easily make sure it is dust and dirt free first before you start rubbing marks off so a wipe over first with a very light touch to get all the dust off

I use product from Wolfsteins. They have a product specific, RAGGTOPP Plastic Window Cleaner and Protectant Kit, which is nothing short of fantastic.

I also use their hood treatment products.

I use Renovo Plastic Window Polish

Details here: RENOVO

They have range of "stuff" for fabric and plastic roofs, etc., seemingly directed at the boat/camping world. But I found it works well, even though some effort is needed.
Cleaning the inside has to be done with the hood up and it requires a bit of leaning and twisting. Best to find a willing slim and fit younger person.....
