Had the Aero out four days in a row ... and smiled every time! Think the next few days don't look great here so tucked up again! Today's outing included the acquisition of a long handled hose lock fitting to assist with underbody washing (for the car!)

S2 is in getting the rear suspension and drivetrain fettled.
Coupe has a broken window actuator so cannot close and secure the window.

Frustrated. Yes. Thats a good word......

When it is below zero then I keep Tarka in the Garage!!

Perhaps Sunday, it will be warmer and definitely on Wednesday next, off to Williams to get the screen pillars fitted!

Good long drive yesterday in the Aero down to Cardiff to pick up the repaired parts for the saildrive on the boat. Then up to Cwmbran and dropped in on Peter Constable at Newtown for a chat. It sounds as though there aren't any Aeros, Plus 8s or MTWs (except MTWs for the US) being built at present, only 4/4s and Plus 4s, as emissions issues and new engines are sorted.
Then a great drive back home on the back road via Usk and Chepstow.
A bit of very fine drizzle at times, and no sun, so top up for some parts of the journey to keep my passenger warm. Although I usually drive top down, it is a very comfortable cabin with it up.
Roll on summer! drive

Coupe fully fettled and being used this week as the main car as we have sold the Audi. We took it up to London on Wednesday for the Theatre and made a few people happy seeing it.

Nice trip coming up. More to follow !

At last...Tarka is out of the garage and on the road. It has been 3 months, work, weather and illness.

Just a short trip to fill up with fuel and then to the Garden Machine people in salisbury to get a new blade for the mower and look at a new petrol trimmer/brush-cutter. The old one is about 14 years old and rather tired.

Tarka is as wonderful as ever, so going out again this afternoon, just because I can!

Good move..it was not my sort of car and, I suspect, ultimately it wasn't yours! Liked the old Merc Estate though.
