Dear fellow Morganites,
I have had a bit of bad luck lately. I was left by my significant other a week before Xmas and have also had the fortune to strike up acquaintances with quite a lot of local plumbers, Carpenters and electricians due to water damage to my house. This damage, incidentally, is deemed to be due to 71 year old plumbing and my Insurance Company howls with joy over not having to pay a penny towards it. I have immersed myself in work and now have a 110 hour Schedule per week instead of 100 and will tomorrow revel in A DAY OFF. That is as much Liberty I get this month. But I do get the pleasure of being allowed to work many many nights apart from all the other Days.
So, what does one do in circumstances like that? Take out my Aero Plus 8 for a spin? Possibly. But I have harboured the old gal for almost 4 years and she is now more like a good friend than an exciting mistress. So, I have commmitted the sin of adultery. Four years after the first Morgan I have ever owned I have bought ANOTHER Moggie, a brand new Plus 4. And I must say that my personal impression is that build quality has improved enormously! I will now happily potter along in my jaguar gunmetal gray/maroon Plus 4, learn how to anoint kingpin nipples and continue searching for a nipple in flesh that wants to share a Morgan with me. Morgans are a cure for depression. Trust me, I am a doctor :-)

Congratulations on the new plus 4. Sounds like an excellent prescription. It seems like they work Doctors as hard in Sweden as they do in the UK.

Do Mogs come flat packed for the Swedish market ? hide

Tks Giles,
I don´t Think doctors in Sweden generally work my hours. Only those who feel honour-bound to stay on their post(s) and fill 3 work slots themselves in spite of the other two being AWOL in perpetuity.

And, luckily, Morgans do come assembled beautifully nowadays in Sweden. My old plus 8, however, really felt like an IKEA (dis)-assemble yourself product

Sorry to hear of your bad fortune, it certainly sounds as if you have the therapy well in hand - enjoy your smiles and adventures and keep a sharp look out for a passenger for your new +4 love.

Dear fellow Morganites, thanking you for your concern and compassion (which, incidentally, I do appreciate very much) I- Luddite as I am, hereby try to reciprocate by posting pics of Percy-the successor to my poor Fifi, who is being sold into white slavery in order for me to be able to pay my water damage bills...
