As it says in the signature Tim smile
Cheapish shopping trolley. When the New Co. starts in April I'm likely to have to visit customer sites on occasions. The greater the difference between mileage and running costs (in my favour) has to be considered. Plus, my knees are having trouble with the Coupe (not with Morgan, so it must be a roof issue and long doors in narrow parking bays) and the blue oval is a 5 door - think mini-mpv or tall(er) Fiesta. Shorter doors mean being able to open the door wider.

Just move the body by 30 degrees on the chassis - Sundial problem solved.

Yes - early start for Curborough - but hopefully the track should be dry. Will be trying out my sparkly new wheels and tyres.

Isn't it 7 months?

I also think it's a bit unfair making us wait an extra month for the light evenings. The clocks go back at the end of October, 2 months before the Winter Solstice, but we have until 3 months after the Solstice before they are put forward.

That's probably to take account of dark mornings. It's only been light at ten to six for a couple of weeks or so and next week it'll be dark again for a few days.

Since we keep chickens, our getting up/going to bed times are driven more by the sun than the clock, so it was nice this morning to be able to have a lie-in until nearly 7 before letting the hens out.

At this time of year, spare a thought for all the tireless volunteers who have to shift the stones forward an hour at all our ancient sites.

Ray, do you drive round in circles so the sundial changes the hour? Forwards in spring and in reverse in autumn?
idea
