It looks like somebody did a lot of work, until you realize that the backend is just a '40 ford or Willys Hood!

If I remember correctly there was a stripped down, and highly modified, Morgan 4/4 that was raced in Australia. If I recall correctly one of its variations was a boat tail, perhaps even without mudguards. Another thing that I think was done was that the steering wheel was moved to the centre making it a single seater. I have searched the net but can't find any photos. It was raced, I think, at Adelaide or Melbourne. The only photo I found was of Colin Uphill racing a Morgan in Adelaide. I'm not sure if this is the owner who radically modified his car over a period of time.

The single seater sounds like David Van Dahl's radically altered Morgan. Its development is covers in one of Jake Alderson's books.

Yes have seen photos. but cant remeber where.
