Cheers for the comments - she really is a beauty. Sadly after a couple of weeks of ownership I'm not sure if Morgan ownership is for me Sure, it's stunning to look at, rare, quirky and with just 9k miles in fabulous condition but it's not what I want

Where can one get a supersport , presume its a hens teeth situation ? Now we know where Madmax can get a Supersport

I'm sure you'll have no difficulty selling it on as they are now a collector's car. Do you think you can let us know exactly what didn't work for you, as certainly if I could get back my own SuperSport I would buy it in a flash...

That is a shame that you don't think it's for you.
Perhaps it makes sense to give it a little longer before making the mistake of parting with it and then trying to get one back in the future?
Like Alistair, fortunate enough to have 2 Aero's in the fleet. I would have an Aeromax to make 3 if one became available at the right time.
I guess the S5 Aero and the new Plus 8's will fall into the rare category now too as the engine supply has all been used up. Unless Morgan go with an alternate V8.

I am always on the borderline to sell Violet. And, at the end, I ask myself: "Ale, which other car could please you more, and not only for the first week?". To calm down I bought a 964. It's another lovely money pit but I already know which of the two will be the first one leaving my garage, if any. Even my wife, who shouted at me for two weeks when I sold the 911 for Violet, just told me: "We should keep Violet until when we are old enough not to succeed to get in anymore".

Thanks for your comments. I'm not entirely sure why I'm not gelling with the car? I love the looks, rarity, sense of occasion, basey exhaust note, the performance... For me, there's just something missing. It could be as simple as the lack of interacting with a manual box? I've put an advert in the classifieds - just awaiting approval. I'm just gutted that after 9 month of searching and looking at a few to find "the one" that its still not for me Originally I was after a Wiesmann GT MF5 but gave up waiting as they appear to be rarer than rocking horse poop. Any thoughts on what I could try next as I'm out of ideas? Perhaps the most sensible thing would be to stick with the car and enjoy some sunny drives and see how I get on with her?

Sell it. If you are not 100% convinced on the car you will suffer more for the issues you'll encounter (and you will...) than the pleasure it gives. Maybe a McLaren could be what you're looking for. It is as effective as boring (at least for what my friends with some nice super/hypercar are telling me). I think it's the brit opposite to a Morgan.

If you are looking for different then consider
Jensen (some nice restored ones out there) A Bentley (Brooklands, last of the old school) 991 Turbo Ultima
Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

Thanks for your comments. Perhaps the most sensible thing would be to stick with the car and enjoy some sunny drives and see how I get on with her? I think that before taking any decision L33 I would book a slow trip to the south of France, doing Route Napoleon either on the way down or the way back, but getting off the Autoroutes for a good part of the journey and see how the relationship works? If after that you have still not gelled, then I would consider my options. For me the SuperSports is more of a grand tourer than a hard-core sports car like the GT MF5, but the McLaren suggested also has an auto box, but a twin-clutch so very different to the old school feel of the SS ZF-six speed, though I would certainly not call my 650S boring! As regards the Ultima GTR - Crunchie and I also share one of these and it is really a stripped down track car, that can be used on the road too. Again it is a very different beast to the Weisnmann and is definitely even more hard core. I think that if you can narrow down your criteria for what you are looking for in your car and also advise whether it is a daily driver or a weekend use only car, then the TM massive will I am sure come up with many more interesting selections. Personally I think that you should have a much longer honeymoon with the SS as it will I'm sure grow on you given time.. P.S. A gratuitous photo of mine, which I miss enormously:
