A pity but I didn't renew last year because I was rationalising my reading and that was one that had to go. As Martin said, no attempt to keep me 'interested'.

Ah, y'see that's the difference.

It was never intended to be a Morgan OWNERS magazine, but a Morgan enthusiasts magazine. Miscellany & the MTWC mag cater for those souls, whereas MOG mag was about the brand and the products first & foremost.

There would never be an article on how to tickle your trunnions as anyone aspiring to the brand would simply turn over.

I don't know why I'm being so supportive, I was promised a £50 donation towards James Gilbert's forthcoming London Marathon in aid of the BHF in memory of his dad for the Wild Mogs Caramulo article. Fat lot of chance of THAT now appearing..!!

Shame it is going. I get it downloaded and am halfway through this year's subscription. I will check for a message.
It did go through aperiod of survival/regeneration about a year ago if I am correct.
In the early days they ran a monthly competition free to enter. I got lucky 3 times! Prize value more or less covers what I have spent on it.
Not a high wow factor in content but for the digital subscription cost just about ok.

That's the problem - how many 'enthusiasts' are not owners ?

I would argue the only potential buyers of Mog mag are owners or those seriously looking to become owners

Well, as I only bought a very few copies and didn't find it that interesting; that must make me an old f*rt and Stanley, an elderly Morgan.

The factory could presumably put out something every quarter. Not as lush as MogMag, but a table top multipage news sheet?

It could be subsidised by the tours, and available in the visitor centre. Even if it was mainly a catalogue of 'stuff'.

Thanks - the cheque`s in the post. OOPS what a giveaway!
It was fun writing up the monthly diary - perhaps I`ll do a bit more for Miscellany now.
