Picked up the Plus 8 from SiFab yesterday with the new headers, silencers and exhaust. Yes? And? And? And? AND?! You can't just leave it like that! Very very keen to have your impressions.

We're in the New Forest tomorrow so will call in on PeterJ and get his second opinion. Personally I think that it transforms the car, as the response is now crisp and immediate and with all the Aero's I've had it's like giving a command on the bridge of the ship (when you press the loud pedal) there's a gap before the message gets to the engine room and then the torque starts. Mine's definitely noisier than the standard rear pipes, but Crunchie's is quieter than mine, the level can be adjusted for sound with the packing in the silencer. Incidentally each silencer is 10-kilos lighter than the standard MMC product! Two disadvantages: 1. it's not cheap and 2. Simon (of SiFab) is not too keen to do any more for now until he figures an easier way of fitting them. The Ultima engineer lay down and had a look at them and said the guy who fitted that must be a Gynocologist!

Well you've done it again and I'm quite jelly bags. Very irritating.

I have heard it It is quieter than side pipes but Brian's sounds like a Corvette on the Mulsanne Straight on full chat. It is deep and has that racy V8 sound. I would like to hear it drive past on throttle, it should be good. As for the car, it is so sharp, more torque and revs freely. I like mine but Brian's sounds better.

Improving the noise is just great ... I loved my S1 now I adore it ... 3 miles down the road to collect the Chinese takeaway and back again, roof down, woolly hat on, listening to V8 music and smiling.
