Might need a substantial redesign of the rear chassis if you wanted to fit more than a couple of shotguns and a Thermidor in.....what about the dogs?!

Good I didn't f-ing swear What if you looked upon it as Morgan's version of a Volvo C30 ? (ie two door extended hatchback). It's a format I really like, C30 especially - always have done, even going back to everyday cars like the two-door Ford Escort Mk1 & Mk2 Estates as well as stuff like Scimitar, Interceptor hatch etc.

Dream Morgan.? Trad style, modern suspension and brakes,300bhp n/a engine, some internal luggage capacity, no /little electronics.
What could have been designed in the 90s
Or to put it another way, the looks / stle of the Aero, the handling turn in and braking of a a Lotus, the sort of V8 engine that Radical use, but no engine modes, no unnecessary electronic suspension, hand operated soft top

Weridly the rear reminds me of a MK1 Astra GTE/Lancia Integrale..

I would get Morgan Special Projects to build the MOGrod that was shown on April Fools' Day last year. As an extra they would also manufacturer a matching trailer that looked like the rear body work of the MOGrod.

I would go for a Series 1 Roadster engine with a six speed gearbox, and a Plus 4 footprint. In Orange probably.

My dream Morgan has always been any Morgan with an automatic transmission. I'm not ashamed to admit it. Even when Charles M was giving me a personal tour of the factory. Being English he was able to avoid revealing an opinion however it was later a factory option so the seed was obviously planted during that very conversation. (This I have incorporated into my dream) I believe they built just the one for Lady Jane and I still hold out hope. My mother always scoffed insisted automatics were for girls. "So?" i would ask. Didn't quite have the sting required to convince me to scale San Francisco hills with a clutch. My habit of watching Steve McQueen in Bullit might have been a factor too. So......safe to say that driving for thrill or excitement is not much of a consideration for me as for many here. After all I have ridden in more Morgans than I can count, beginning with my first ride home from the hospital at birth - and still get a little thrill each and every time. But the SLR, I miss her beyond reason.
Morgan girl since birth. Literally.
