Took the dogs out today. A run over to Port Eynon on Gower. Nice walk on the beach before the dogs ban starts on May1. Chips in the cafe after the walk/swim (dogs not me!). Couple of nice comments about the mog in the carpark. On the return journey we passed a large number ( 100+) scooters headed the other way.
Alfie, the springer, confused us on the return run.... swmbo thought a farmer had been muck spreading but it was him with a wind problem. The backflow of air into the cockpit carried it in. sick

Ray, we passed the airfield on the return route. Saw one red parachute landing as we passed. I asked Lynne if she wanted to go in to see but negative answer. As we passed the end of the runway a small plane came in to land pretty low over us just after the parachute came down. Timing was close! The cafe is closed? There was a sign at the entrance saying it was.

A great day out with Lord Unstone, Peter and others at the Bromyard Speed Festival.
A wonderful sunny day, and a much safer course than last year.

An odd highlight of the day was a passenger in the afternoon session: Barry 'Whizzo' William's mother, aged 101!
A Morgan knows no limits in its entertainment value.

Here is a link to YouTube to some of the Morgan Massive at Bromyard yesterday:

Sun was shining yesterday. I got an invitation from Stefan S to join him, his wife and son with girlfriend on a trip to the marina in Paal NL. From left to right: +8, +4 and 4/4.
(not a great photo, taken with my mobile)

Great pic Dirk.

Went out on a mission today. A five mile trip managed to grow into 25 .

Funny how that keeps happening.

Testing the lost whistle was part of the mission.

Had a 3.0L Roadster on the lift today looking for leaks. Didn't find any. Started the 34 SS, burned my arm on the exhaust. Hadn't had that sort of burn since my old Honda days.

Drove the 1981 4/4 down to Sanford for dinner last night. There is a new craft beer pub that has just opened. Interesting place. The beer was good, food questionable. Interestingly they had an outdoor patio for folks with dogs, and they had a specific beer for dogs (non alcoholic).

I didn't take my dogs, though. But they might have liked it.

Cheers,

Mark
