Last night (Monday Apl 3rd) did anyone see Dispatches President Trump : How scared should we be?
Much of the programme dealt with America's military might. However, in the final minutes of the programme we see a jet taking off from an aircraft carrier. That aeroplane looked to me like a French Dassault Super Etendard. Freezing the frame just after the aircraft passes the camera the French roundel can be seen towards the rear of the fuselage. So was this the French air force or French marines exercising with US forces (I didn't think the US military had much time for the French)? Or could it have been an entirely different piece of film - spliced in by an unknowing editor - showing the Etendard taking off from the French carrier "Charles de Gaulle"?

Lets hope it was just an cock up because if The frogs start something we will have to go and rescue them AGAIN.

It was definitely the French carrier being shown at the end. At least they have the aircraft to launch of theirs!😉
