thanks both...

@twotribes - a great tip - I'll remember to get the wiring changed for something meatier

@asbojohn go on then, which Alpine unit?
That sounds like a smart approach.

I'm looking forward to having more details on the exhaust system.... please. smile

I took mine for it's annual service today and may have got papped by a mobile speed camera. frown a stretch of dual carriageway that's a 50 and I was going a bit faster. I await the brown envelope.

Head unit is an Alpine iDE-178BT

The volume is best controlled on and ir controller part no RUE-4202 I struggled to find this. Just looked and both are available on Amazon.

Interesting of comment on the front speaker wiring Stuart I might take look at that when I've got 5 minutes from memory all of the speakers left the amp using decent cable but that doesn't mean it's not changed to bell wire behind the dash.

Took the "very long road" to basketball last night - taking 24.2 km to go 11km via some most enjoyable roads. It might become my regular route to ensure more regular fun drives!

A leisurely loop through the New Forest to photograph 3 old style garages (photos to follow) and to enjoy lunch at the Royal Oak, Fritham.

The sun was bright, the sky blue and spring was in the air.
and I'm on holiday: Glorious!!

Had a nice run out today.

Parked in front of a nice hotel.

I spotted some video online of you driving around the square.

Did they move one of the chav cars to allow you to park?

Today I will mostly be growling around the Amalfi Coast whilst making the locals smile and give a thumbs up.

This is such a beautiful place. As it is almost the first week of anything opening it is not overloaded and so still good fun. The food is amazing. Driving the Mog with the dual sidepipes along the mountain roads with cliffs to echo off is ssssooooo naughty.
