If the paint finish is anything like the paint finish on the wishbones, headlamp brackets, front mudguards, exhaust mounting brackets etc. of my 2013 M3W I would agree that it is to the usual Morgan crap standard for parts such as this, i.e. no proper surface preparation, no proper undercoat and no adhesion. Hmmmm... my 2016 is pretty spot on!

Paint on the wishbones on my July 2013 car seems fine but paint on the headlamp brackets flacked & they were replaced. The front mudguards were repainted, the dealer organised it & Morgan paid for all after much prevarication. Finish on the mudguards was better than new. Tim

as my Crankshaft housing breather pipe is not going straight up to the main air filter anymore, i have it going down hanging at the bottom of my car. at the end of this pipe is a little filter. this filter is hanging inside a smal plastic bottle, so i do not have oil specks on the ground every time i park or start the car. after 500km, i sucked out the oil wich was sitting in this plastic bottle: 120ml of it!!! so now you see, how much hot oil fumes are coming out of this engine and crankshaft! go to: http://s725.photobucket.com/user/swissboston/library/Andypassword: true (type it by hand, do not copy/paste!!!)

I wonder if the greater part of that oil is at start-up and caused by wet sumping since last used Can't see your pictures (password error), but if exit from pipe is lower than original air intake it may increase oil and fumes into your catch device.
