We are similarly enthused by the G56 kit both in terms of ease of fitting and performance benefits...highly recommended. What are thoughts on best way to re-use/re-purpose the old pipes??

She is looking ( and no doubt sounding) great Tim!
Well done.
G56 seem to have this cracked (oops sorry no pun intended).
Any news on the G56 Bevel box??

Not wishing to gloat, but Thumper has a pretty quiet bevel box. Not that I have compared it against others, but I don't find it that intrusive.

Tim So is MO's. The wrench at Morgan Midatlantic says he's never heard one as quiet.

Thumper went for its MOT last Friday and also to have the timing belt bolt mod. On examination, a stone was found punching through the drive belt: Don't expect many have had that problem. Sprockets are OK. On its way back it was found that the self adjusters on the rear brake drum weren't. So those needed replacing and the car stayed at KH until today awaiting the parts, when it was picked up by my RAF son. I suspect he will use Thumoer to go to work at RAF Honington tomorrow and Friday - with a bit of luck I'll get Thumper back at the weekend. Tim

Hi Tim W. I was stationed there in the late 70's. Billeted at Barnham. If I remember correctly its all choppers now. Back then we had Buccaneers.
I was ground equipment.

Honnington is now the base for The Regiment, John. No aircraft other than occasional visitors but there is a Buccaneer as gate guardian. My son lives in Barnham village. I think he will be well received taking an M3W into work today!

An RAF base without aircraft, somehow it does not cut it for me.

Hi All
Please forgive the obvious presumption, but I assume Hertsmog is for Hertfordshire folk. I'm on the Herts borders & wondered if you have regular meetings & are open to 4 wheeled Mogs, kind regards, Ian
