Thanks for that info Andy. I'm not keen on going down to a lower profile and for my style of driving the Toyos are probably overkill. I agree with your view over the 195 width....it might well give the driving feel I'm looking for.

Heinz....yes, I am aware of the issues regarding the rubbing of the inner rim and this may explain why on the Minilite website, the 15x6.5 wheel says "modification"

ChesterG.... Williams have a set in stock but at 7" are too wide. Also they can't be arsed to reply to my emails, so I gave up on them.

That's not good, particularly after all you've spend with them...

Its very frustrating when MMC and Dealers do not respond to emails.

I have emailed a Dealer and MMC in recent weeks and included my phone number - no response from either. swear

Its probably me expecting too much!

Not sure, but aren't Burtonpower main stockists for Minilites?
They might be worth a phonecall.

Though only modest requests (ecu mapping and Al radiator), I gave up trying to get a response from Williams.

I gave up on Williams a long time ago, never got any of my promised calls back.

John I had lites on my TR6, I found http://minilite.co.uk/ good to deal with and although they supply through dealers they were extremely helpful.

Minilite recommend 6 x15 rather than 6.5 rims which the factory alloys are.

The 6 x 15 Minilite wheels are also available in the original magnesium version, 33% lighter than alloy.

I run the Minilites on both my sprint cars - 6x15 and I have run 185/55/15 or 195/50/15 on the fronts and 205/50/15 on the rears.

Don't bother going via an agent - just call minilite direct they have the details for Morgan bolt on's.

I've not had any experience with their centre-lock versions - the engineering involved with the centre lock adaptors seems a bit backward to me.
