Hi,
I've just realised last week I clocked over 10 years membership of this forum!
Learner plates on still, clearly I'm a reader more than a writer.

Well done Roger I wonder if you hold the record for length of membership and numbers of comments? Not quite! Roger has averaged 1 post every 159 days. The longest serving user appears to be Matt who joined on 05/08/2006 (even before Simon!) and so far hasn't posted. After Simon, the oldest registered member who has posted at all is Gareth. He has made 23 posts since joining on 07/08/2006 which averages 169 days per post. ~iw

I held back for the first eight years....... That would be an interesting statistic, the longest a person has been a member before making a first post. I'm not sure how to find that without a lot of work! However I see that's not what you meant Dave. Your first post was on 11/12/08, the day you joined, and you made 42 posts in your first month. That was an average of 1.35 posts per day ... and that included Christmas! Not a bad start, your " held back" would be " hit the ground running" for most users.  Your overall average now is 4.011 ppd, for the record. ~iw
