I'm going to a Ferrari owners dinner tonight - so, obviously, taking the Morgan. Black Tie, so sides on as it's not too warm. I wonder how it will look amongst the Italians. Very special indeed.... Just how many of the Ferraris are bespoke, hand assembled? Peter

We are taking the shiny one for a spin around Europe as we had always promised ourselves since we bought the car. We love that everyone sees the car and just stops dead in their tracks.
Your kind comments strike a funny bone because
We were at the Ferrari factory yesterday and they loved the car. I am not allowed to share all the stuff but lets just say they totally loved the car with all its little edges.
In Monaco it outshone every other car on the square. If you ever want a good definition of envy we watched it happen. Some nork drove a Lambo Veneno onto the square at 11,000 rpm in first gear and nearly hit a bollard whilst gawping at the Aero. The hotel put it in pride of place and moved a new Ferrari F12TdF to put it in front of the main doors.
In Positano the local plod moved cars to let us though in the middle of a festival! So Italy definitely wins for the love of cars. Sadly it also wins for the worst damn road surfaces I have ever driven over, through and around. For a country that is deeply nuts about cars it does a carp job of letting them run.
I am glad that the shiny one finally has an entry into that site. I will admit to wanting it to be 'papped' for ages. He/she did an excellent job of the shots as well. I have been putting a few of mine on Facebook.
If anyone wants any as screen savers or for general OCD enjoyment I am always happy to share. It is a beautiful thing.
We are 2200 miles into the journey and heading back home now. Currently we are trotting around Lake Como. France next. Bugs be warned, you will be squashed.
Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

Sounds great, are you doing the Millau viaduct on the way back? We need some pics! Simon We are taking the shiny one for a spin around Europe as we had always promised ourselves since we bought the car. We love that everyone sees the car and just stops dead in their tracks.
