I have a problem with both front bonnet catches being difficult to undo sometimes almost impossible
Any ideas ?

When did you last lubricate them? I had the same problem and found that a couple of drops of oil worked wonders.

Just take the catch plates off the wings and bend them up a bit.

With the heel of the hand try pushing down parallel to the slope of the bonnet, and push slightly forwards. With the non-pushing hand insert two fingers behind catch and pull to help persuade it to come free. I have always had trouble with the OSF bonnet catch, but this method works on mine.

I use ACF50 and it works well on bonnet catches.

You could also try just loosening the catch retaining screws on the outside of the bonnet a little - it worked for me !

Grease the sliders, then follow Bob The Train.
