Hello everyone.
I'd be grateful if someone could advise me what make and type of grease they use for the front suspension.
I have 2014 4/4.
Thanks very much

I first used Comma CV Lith Moly grease from Halfords.
Adrian on here suggested Lucas Red 'n' Tacky which I am using at present. I will swop back to the Comma grease once the Red n Tacky runs out. Main reason is that when I get the car serviced the dealer uses Lith Moly so no point in having a mix in my view.

Lucas Red n Tacky as recommended by many on TM . When getting it serviced I get my dealer to use my grease gun .

Not sure it makes any difference. I have used Molloy, White Lithium, Boat axle grease, wheel bearing grease, CV grease. And probably many more. Just use some of this stuff for sure and regularly. Argue with Me if You like but if I am wrong I probably have used the wrong grease on 4 Mogs for almost 40 years. Yes I do drive them a lot. For the last 10 years I have used Chrome King Pins and Vesconite Bushes and in excess of 50,000 miles.
I think who ever is using a semi liquid grease/oil maybe the best solution of all. But I have not tried it myself.

I'm with Button, I really don't think it makes a hap'orth of difference which grease one uses, so long as one does it regularly and swaps to hardchrome kingpins as soon as the originals wear out - which won't be very long if one neglects the greasing But a Moly grease is a good choice. I'm currently using Red'n'Tacky, which seems a bit thicker to me.

I use Penrites fluid grease designed for steering boxes, it's not quite a solid grease at normal temperatures, seems to get to the right places but is thick enough not not leak everywhere.
Oil is a better lubricant if you can keep it in so it seems a good compromise, but agree any grease is better than none.
You'll hear advice about being careful not to overdo it and risk it getting on brake discs. To be honest you'll have to go some to create enough excess grease to do that but little and often is the key.

Using differing colour greases is very handy, you can easily spot when you have pushed the old out by the colour change.
