Hello from Sydney Australia. my M3W is 18 months old. I get a strange noise under the dash which sounds like wood cracking when I hit a bump. Recently under conditions of heavy rain the noise disappeared. Now it is sunny again the noise has reappeared. Any suggestions?

Hi walt207. A very warm welcome to you; nice to see another local on TM. Regrettably, I have no experience on the M3W but there is a wealth of knowledge on this forum so I am sure you will have some useful feed back soon so set your computer to stun.
If this is the only problem with your new Ozzie 3W you have done extremely well given the unique nature of the vehicle.
This sounds like a relative minor issue but you should run it by Morgan Cars Australia in the first instance. Good luck with a fix if it’s necessary and I would welcome a catch up when you’re out and about in Sydney town.

Hello and welcome to TM and the many issues of the M3W. I a friend of mine have the same issue with our M3W as you have with the under dash. Their is a plastic bit that is just over the top of the instruments, I believe it is there to keep water out of the wiring and instruments. It can make all kinds of racket when hitting a bump in the road. My firend stuffed insulation a top of this bit and fix his issue. Not wanting to have fine fiberglass in my car, I'm going to get some anti-vibration stick on strips from a hardware store to stick on the top of it to fix it. You also can find it at a good car stereo place that does installations.
