Fighting a nasty cold for more than a month I drove the first long tour today. Sooo nice to have her on the road again!

Been for a run today around the Cotswold potholes. Suggest TMers could go on pothole detail for their local councils. Apart from that, a cracking ride and a few waves . SteveH and Harry

Drove the scenic route from Huntingdon to Ross on Wye. I'm still unable to drive so was chauffeured for a change, was a good opportunity to see what else was on the road.
Saw a herd of TVR's driving through kimbolton and counted the following on the way down
Jaguar E-types x 4
Triumph TR3, Tr4, Tr6 and 2 stags
MGA MGB x 2 and an MGC
Numerous "real" Mini's
Pack of Landrovers including 2 very nice Series 1's
Several batches of vintage motorcycles.
As for Morgans, didn't see one!

Excellent run out to Prescott for the bike festival with daughter No 3 and bf (hers, not mine!) Good crowd so should have been a successful fundraiser for the Blood Bikes.
Missed Graham, he must have been hiding up the hill somewhere. Good selection of M3Ws and a couple of 5 speeders giving rides, one with a TM sticker.
A vast variety of bikes, and a few novelties including a jet powered shopping trolley and hearse. I rather liked its motto 'In Thrust We Trust'.

Glorious run down A38 to Buckfastleigh then to Street via Totnes and Halwel. Prolonged deep trench shaped potholes extend the whole length of the Totnes Cross/Halwel section: (reported to Devon County Roads website). Along the coast roads past Torcross then to Start point parking site for a picnick sandwitch. Good leg stretch to Mattiscombe Sands. Dramatic walking circuit passing the Start Lighthouse. Spotted a couple of seals and a pair of Swallows. Homebound drive same route leaving the coastal section at Strete.

Last of the snow in my yard melted yesterday so today drove down to my neighbor's goat farm to give him the ride I'd promised him last October. He loved it. Like most around here he'd never had a ride in a RHD car.

Hi Pete. Yes, I was at Cattle Grid. With the extended running day (both early start & later finish) and a shortened lunch break I didn't get much chance for a look around. I understand from BOC that it was one of the most successful days from the fund raising point of view

Lovely run today with Harry to AV8 at Cotswold Airport ---------- until I took the entrance speed hump ( with iron sliding gate runner ) toooooooo fast - crunch - 50 mts later HT 11 spluttered to stop. Fuel starvation ? What had happened? Fuel line crushed? No! Phoned my neighbour professional spanner juggler and all round good bloke - he came out and found the fuel cut off had cut the supply . I didn't even know it had one !Christ did I hit the speed hump that hard.! !! One click and she was as good as knew - must be an over sensitive cut off, that's my take on it. Moral - no hard humping in a Moggie. A red faced SteveH and of course Harry
