I believe they built just the one for Lady Jane sorry you are wrong they made automatic for oversea version, we have see picture here of one from Dubai: V6 3.7L (i have the picture somewhere in my computer), and i have read have 2 X 4 seaters automatic in China (+4 if i am not wrong), but for sure is not something they try to push in the market.

I would go for a Series 1 Roadster engine with a six speed gearbox, and a Plus 4 footprint. In Orange probably. Your just either side of your dream. Perhaps a middle man

Still the best Morgan design I have ever seen: That's the car for me - always loved the airline coupe look of the thirties. Absolutely stunning and I wonder why Morgan never built one like it on the trad models.

My dream Morgan has always been any Morgan with an automatic transmission. I'm not ashamed to admit it. Even when Charles M was giving me a personal tour of the factory. Being English he was able to avoid revealing an opinion however it was later a factory option so the seed was obviously planted during that very conversation. (This I have incorporated into my dream) I believe they built just the one for Lady Jane and I still hold out hope. My mother always scoffed insisted automatics were for girls. "So?" i would ask. Didn't quite have the sting required to convince me to scale San Francisco hills with a clutch. My habit of watching Steve McQueen in Bullit might have been a factor too. So......safe to say that driving for thrill or excitement is not much of a consideration for me as for many here. After all I have ridden in more Morgans than I can count, beginning with my first ride home from the hospital at birth - and still get a little thrill each and every time. But the SLR, I miss her beyond reason. You can actually get a +4 automatic (factory approved as well) www.vitesse-ltd.com I think special order only though. I also believe there is someone on here who has one. RTCC had the demo at one of his open days, had a go in it not really my cup of tea though.

And I have seen a few cars that the owners converted themselves. Some day....!

Morgan Plus 4, 5-link rear suspension, revised front suspension, Ferrari-red body with pitch-black wings, Minilite wheels, chromed roll over or safety bar or whatever its name is, black Easy Up hood, black with red piping Plus 8 seats and carpets, Motolita GT40 OEM steering wheel, fog lamps front and rear, full bumpers(mandatory in my country), air-con...¿what else?
