My solution to the Issue. DIN socket mounted next to the Cobra head and spliced into loom inboard of the existing connector

That is a simple enough solution to drilling holes through the bulkhead. I will have to check that out on the Roadster to see if there is enough space between wheel & Body to fit it in. sherlock

The gap is narrower than yours Andy, so its'back to the drawing board' idea

how about incorporating a strip LED light into the top edge of the suitcase, and then using the suggested connector?
