Sadly this scenario has been aired many times over the years, with various problems with the Three Wheeler. I don't know how Morgan do it but they seem to be able wriggle out of their responsibility time after time, and I have no doubt that the odd one which they have had to pay for has been silenced with a confidentiality agreement.
I'm sure they would do the same with the chassis breakages if they could, but that is just a step too far to get out of paying for.

You are not the only one thinking this. Much good luck in having Morgan own up to this fiasco which is totally in their making. Think "Comfort Kit" which we had to pay for to correct an obvious design fault which was also potentially deadly. Hang on a minute Michael, the 'Comfort Kit' was solely developed for the American market, because they wanted, no, insisted on having a car which is more in keeping with the large barges of jelly [jello] of old. Or so Morgan would have us believe! Which was why I commissioned the 'Empire Suspension Correction Kit' from Bill Chaplin, now being sold by Krazy Horse but still manufactured by Bill with their name on, which turned out to be a huge improvement.

I wish it were so simple. The damn steering, as offered on the initial 2012/2013 models was deadly. It was flawed. It was designed badly. It damn near took me out any number of times. I wish that it was due to wanting a 'softer, mushier' steering like days of old but no. This was total crap. Somebody blew it and Morgan turned their collective corporate back to it.
This put the nail on the coffin as far as I was concerned. We were Beta testers. Left out to dry...
What's your mileage? Who cares. Is it practical? See #1. What happens when it rains? You get wet.

I do have to concur Michael.
I found myself instantly on the wrong side of the road after driving over a sunken man hole cover.
This was on a major trunk road at 50mph.
Luckily it was early one Sunday morning and nothing was coming the other way.
Quite a number of 6 wheeled tipper trucks use this road and I wouldn't want to hit one of those in anything let alone a 3 wheeler.

Same thing. Happened to me.
On the Fosse Way always a busy A road .
Really scared me - I thought something had broken.
I felt lucky not to have a very serious accident.
This was prior to the Comfort Pack fit.
After that it was fine. Well acceptable .

Granted...the early cars had major issues. The car was rushed into production and owners of pre '14 cars were beta testers. The new cars are pretty much ironed out and spot on... as good as any Morgan 4 wheeler. Let's educate potential buyers if used ones and stop incorrectly scaring buyers of new ones.

+1 My car is stock, and although it does make some interesting noises, it's brilliant.

Well Bell and Colville seem to be very helpful so far and I am going to have the car delivered to them. Will keep all updated.
