I've just heard from the dealer & Morgan will check my clutch condition for no charge whilst rebuilding. I have ordered the centa compensator for £695.52 + Vat no labour charge but price has increased from £538 since Nov 2016. Being cynical are they recouping a bit of the labour in the price increase? Still no timescale.

I'd rather be hanging out on a great driving road in this good weather. My car getting disabled always seems to coincide with good driving weather. I suppose getting a labour free replacement compensator is some compensation but then it should not need replacing

Well done TimG, you only posted notice of your 3 week wait yesterday and now a response ! - perhaps they're reading TM...

Thanks Neil

Let’s hope this is resolved with out the involvement of the authorities.

Not sure I would like to be a small UK car manufacturer forced to cross swords with European or American consumer (and maybe automotive) regulators in a post Brexit environment.

Seems like a sure-fire recipe for a very bloody nose!

I spoke to the dealer yesterday & they still have no news from Morgan on replacing chassis. They will see Mark Evans on sunday at Silverstone & try to get an update. Its 4 weeks since it departed on back of a recovery truck.

Am sorry to read this Tim.

It's a long time to wait for a response. Let alone a fix.

Not sure Silverstone would offer the right moment to get a response from Mark either.

But hopefully you will.

Morgan thinks if they wait long enough we'll all die---and no more problem. The "squeaky" door doesn't even seem to work here I'm still waiting for a definitive answer to my cracks and its been months.

laugh2

I work with a few suppliers like that, they think if they ignore the problem for long enough the client or the dealer will disappear
