I feel left out gloomy

I can't hear the whistle over the sound of the throttle bodies and the exhaust drive

Yesterday we drove from Salisbury to Arundel Castle for a "Drive it Day" meeting. The drive there was along the M27 and A27, so making good progress around the national limit.

Driving under the may over bridges there WAS NO WHISTLE!!!!

Brilliant, and Job Done!

Never had any whistling from the light bezels. Two cars and nothing.
Last month I fitted new surrounds(bezels) as the chrome was showing signs of corrosion. No additional stick on or otherwise padding, just the standard rubber type black infill.
I reckon that the airflow round that area is mainly over the upper halfso that area is the one to watch. Hence the partial padding on PeterJ's car?
Whilst doing the job I used acf50 on the metal fixings. The chrome bits were cleaned, treated with a combination of paint sealant and wax. Hopefully this will help deter any rusting. happy3
I have had whistling from the sidescreen though. The driver side front petspex half had slid back and not fully in the front frame channel. There was a small gap and wind came into it making the whistling. Easy fix!
Next noise is a squeek/creak/ from the windscreen corner area. Possibly from the sidescreen rubbing. I will do a run without them as a test.
swmbo doesn' comment/notice any noises until I mention them. doh
