I keep my Avons at 29psi. 6,400 miles and don't even look 1/2 worn yet wearing perfectly evenly and very pleased with the grip and handling. Planning on Coker Excelsiors when these wear out... like 10,000 is my guess.

I've had Blockley for the last 3,500 miles and I like them the best.

First two sets of Avons went quickly. Blockleys lasted much longer but I was having difficulty getting any that weren't already ten years old. The Coker Excelsior line is superb. Dead ringer for the Blockley but the formulation is much better.
I don't know just what Morgan was thinking but the stock Avons have never been rated for steering. They are strictly meant for rear/side car use and are marketed as such.
What's your mileage? Who cares. Is it practical? See #1. What happens when it rains? You get wet.

Having seen Taffmog in his three wheeler coming round a 90 degree bend last Sunday his three wheeler definitely doesn't breakaway !

Went for Excelsior's bought from Longstones, as heard they last longer than similar Blockleys, but too early to confirm. Definitely better grip than the Avons though.

The Coker looks like a Blockley but the rubber compound is far superior. It's tougher and has excellent wear characteristics. I have far exceeded what the Blockleys were capable of and the tires still have a very good tread left after 8,000 miles!
This is my fifth set of fronts. I drive this thing hard, I freely admit, while the roads around this part of the world are doing their best to destroy tires and allignment.
