Does anybody knows the inner and outer size of Rays (aeromax) center caps?

Does anybody knows the inner and outer size of Rays (aeromax) center caps? A quick measure of the outer size suggests 2 5/8"...

67mm, thanks! does the center cap "sit" on the rim or does it goes "exactly" in the hole? I cannot explain it better

It inserts from the rear and is a VERY tight fit. I do not normally remove them when the wheel is off for cleaning.
When seated the outward facing face of the cap is perfectly flush with the face of the wheel.
My wheel centre caps are not branded, they are polished, machined alloy or stainless. There is a subtle circular machining finish.

Peter, many thanks! You gave me all info I needed.
So I need to go on looking for the "aftermarket" solution for now, until when my friend with some CNC machinery, will not do something similar to what you have.

The new wheels look really, really good, much better than the originals. (Almost as good as an Aeromax wheel!) Yes, the centre caps need to be subtle.  As in the photo of one of my wheels.

You could easily get a Morgan set of wings laser etched into the plugs. I think it would look ok.
