All those on Eurotunnel beware, the carriages have a central trunking in the floor with cover plates, on some of the trains the cover plates are loose and can be dislodged by the M3W rear wheel, I keep hard over to the right hand side and the rear wheel then just misses the covers.

Oh yes Rog, I remember it well, with us spinning off the six foot plate and thinking Mmm that's a new strange noise I haven't heard before. Funny how the M3W rear wheel wants to do new things & go places 4 wheels never do. That worth a post of its own - Strange unexpected places we've taken our M3W rear wheel.

Ferry here. Will have to scoot off late morning on Sunday but hope to catch up with you, Ian, Chris and so, on Saturday night at La Sapiniere. Is there a dress code? I'll be the shambolic chap in last season's tweed with a squiffy blonde in tow. I do look forward to meeting you all.
