IS anyone bothering to fit beam reflectors?
Just googling about it seems to have gone out of fashion somewhat.

I'm not bothering with deflectors but will have 2x Hi Vis jackets in the cockpit and a warning triangle.

weather could be wet Saturday, hope you miss the showers.

I'm off to Montlhery, at the same time, but doubt we will bump into each other.

Have a good trip.

Thanks, enjoy Montlhery.

Albert Ballers:

If the weather has been a bit wet then Mark has pointed out that the crash site field could well be quite muddy. If this is the case then Mark will give his commemoration at the edge of the field and I'll have my wellies with me so I can lay the wreath.

Good thinking. My list; Hipflask, phone duct-taped to dash for nav, fusty old helmet, bottle to top up hipflask, French Francs, passport (British black, not European plum), a Berlitz guide to shouting at Frenchpeople, a few miniatures of brandy, can of that useless tyreweld, a little something to place on Albert's stone, a blonde I picked up at Goodwood, some 'tache wax, loose change for tolls/Gendarme bribery, lifevest for the Ferry, a selection of tweed, something that makes me look a little less like a homeless person for Saturday night, a swiss army knife for general repair use and/or in case of any cultural misunderstandings with the aforementioned Gendarmerie, a sensible hat, and perhaps a selection of salty snacks blue-tacked to the dash for ease of grazing on the move. And a smile. Mustn't forget that.
