I have two racks without mounting kit but it seems that I am able to produce an own solution. Morgan could only deliver the suction cup as spare part. Rutter's spare department does not know what this spare part looks like. Whether do I know how the complete cup with bracket looks like. Would one of you who owns the luggage rack be able to send me a few pictures where I can see what I have to make? Many thanks in advance.

Yep, it pretty much is. Though it was a suction cup mount for various cameras/lighting before gopro incorporated something similar in their offerings. As noted by the patent number on it. It's a Panavise 809 suction cup mount. Just without the extra armature. http://www.patentbuddy.com/Patent/D521850https://goo.gl/qRRTvY

The suction pad seems a strange solution though, mating to the bare metal of the rear deck. I wonder if extending the rear deck rear hinge would be better (with suitable bracket)? Or maybe what is really needed is a replacement rear deck with flat top and lugs i.e. Built in luggage rack! Or Don's alternative using the roll loops only! http://www.bleazey.co.uk/M3W.html#luggage

Christian, I've heard some people say the cup looks much like a Go Pro fixture I looked up my photo equipment and found a suction cup that would fit. Not GoPro but it should work. For the front mounting the following solution seems to be ok for me. another talkmorgan solution These clamps can handle more than 30kg each that should be ok and no drilling is needed. Drilling the roll hoop won't be my cup of tea. Maybe I will look for a nice replacement instead of the stainless eye bolt and rubber parts.
