Anybody else having issues with posting pictures lately? I used to be able to post directly from my iPhone. Now I get the "over 10000 bytes" error message. So, I tried going back to Photobucket. Still getting the same error message. I asked on the "Intro" forum where there are threads for newbies about posting pics but didn't get a solution though I did find another person getting the same error messages. One suggested using tinypics.com, which I did... same error message. Happens whether I use phone or iMac.

Very strange. Photobucket is working absolutely fine to me. Here's the process I use:

1. Upload the picture to Photobucket.

2. View the picture in Photobucket it will look something like this:

(ignore the 'click to use Flash" message, I've configured Safari to only use it when explicitly ok'd by me)

3. Click the 'Direct' link on the right. The word 'copied' will then appear on a yellow background.

4. Now type the characters "[img]" in your post, and paste in the link you copied in step 3.

5. Now type the characters"[/img]" afterwards, and the image will appear in your post.

Yep. I was still using the file manager box which no longer seems to work, at least for me. The direct posting of a link within the body of the message works.

I have never understood why TM has such a "complex" method of uploading pictures. Most sites have a "Browse" facility that connects to your library, click on the photo you want, select open, and as the saying goes "Bob's you uncle" !

Ah Maersk Supply Service. Used to like visiting our office there (unrelated to Maersk).
