A quick look at Pistonheads classified section seems to suggest Morgan new car prices have gone up a little. Plus 4 are being advertised at well over £50k and 4/4's upto around £45k. They do seem rather a lot of money spend

The gap seems to be growing between new and used. Have I been asleep and missed something?

Depends what you are comparing. Those are highly specced car prices.
