Yes the sidepipes certainly seem to be loud. I have no idea how the Coupe gets through an MOT. When under full load at high revs it is monumentally loud, it cannot possibly be fully legal. Move on, nothing to see here, perfectly normal  I'm not convinced it's just the db level, but also the sound pressure which kicks off alarms. Sure, it's loud, but it's deep.

They look good, a very neat job. First time I have seen a Series 1 with twin pipes, could be start of a trend.
