My dealer replaces those plugs with globs of butyl rubber. Not pretty, but damn functional. I had the dealer move the pedals closer when I picked up the car because I thought Beth would be driving it. She has given up that idea, so I moved them forward again. About a 1/2 hour job, taking my time.

So is the pedal move to make it more comfortable for you or is Mrs Comet going to get her hands on the keys Hey Chris  Mrs Comet has given up trying to driving the threewheeler (and any other shifted car)  Independent of this, I thought bringing the pedals one step closer to me would be more confortable. It felt so, for the first hour. But then I was getting a cramp in both feet! Not good. Pedals are back to standard pos. now. See you in September!

I agree on moving the pedal position forward. I also had them close in, but no place to put my feet. However the clutch is just a bit of a stretch for me now. My pedal location holes never had any plugs, which begs the question as to whether out floor boards need drain holes (which I added early on, based on my race car experience with alloy pan floors. )

I had this problem too comet , I managed to fit a piece of very dense foam about an inch thick behind the lower backrest , that sorted it for me .
