Just had to throw out my cheap pistol grip grease gun for greasing the suspension- it was making a real mess and I couldn't release empty the cartridge so I got really angry and gave it real kicking

It was only a £20, Chinese made and has lasted just under 3 years and about 6 greasing session which isn't good really (Lifes Motors have done the rest every time it goes in for an MOT or service)

buy cheap - buy twice doh

Any recommendations for a good quality grease gun I can get in the UK - lever action preferred with a long flexible nozzle as it's a slimmer profile and probably easier to maneuver into position under the front ?

Agreed, mine was my fathers and is a least 50 years old and does the job. Need to learn the trick to fill it though!

Wanner for me too. I've had it many years and it's still working like new.
Mine has two bleed valves, I've seen some with only one which might save some time and mess perhaps?

A fellow Morgan owner over on the Lotus forum swears by the Makita attachment.

A bit pricey but he reckons it's simply perfect.

I need one too and I think I'd go this route unless I'm advised differently. Any thoughts on it chaps?

When the question involves Grease, the answer involves Wanner. Every time.

So how many "squirts" with say a Wanner. Make sure it's primed first then one lever full?

looks great but probably too much of a faff to get out the cordless as well - and then you run the risk of getting grease all over the cordless

I would rather a good quality lever activated grease gun

My local engineering supply company in Preston sells the Lumatics which he claims they use and supply to Leyland trucks

seem cheap though so I'm not convinced
