Just noticed the factory's latest instragram post suggesting a new launch / announcement on Friday with a Aero 8 being driven away... Since the Aero was limited to 100 models and presume all accounted for now and a shortage of BMW engines, is it a new variant being launched or just announcing that they have sold out...

Or an Electric Aero of a Hydrogen Aero.

Unlikely to be a new variant. They usually spring up at Geneva. But who knows. A V6 Aero?

But it could be...
... Announcing formally that the production run is sold. (140 or so cars)
... Hard tops are being delivered
... A magazine road test incident(Autocar have done a piece between the venerable Steve Cropley & Jon Wells, and have updated the text of their Aero 8 model review... though it still shows SuperSports pics)

Take your pick 😀

It could be wide variety of things so I'll start with a few rumours.

1/ Morgan have just discovered that Friday is before Saturday and wish the world to know.

2/ During a recent stock take a batch of unused old Rover v8 were found so aero production will continue into the future.

3/ My car is ready for collection from servicing woohoo

4/ Sir Ranulph Fiennes has offered to speak at the alternative Mog 17 dinner

5/ we've nothing to announce but though we'd give those on TM something to speculate on for a few days laugh2

Sorry missed one out.

Seeing the cones in the video

6/ the guy that crashed the aero on the road test the other week has successfully retaken his driving test hide

Maybe you Aero guys understand the marketing rational better than me, but why limit Aero production to 100?

Why can't it be a standard production model like the other cars, with special edition limited production variants as required.

Must be a lot of development cost per unit for such a small production run.

John Harvey-Jones must be spinning.

There was a finite number of engines available from BMW
