That's great Mario! The other issue sorted too? Neither issue sorted so far because the exhausts I asked for last September are yet to arrive. They are now expected to be delivered early days of July. That's almost one full year of "sorting out". Considering last time I waited 8 months I don't even know why I am surprised. The "other issue" (Plus 4 windshield replacement problems) is "another sad joke" and no, it isn't solved. I'll post about it in a separate thread. Possibly. And even then not to make MMC do anything (this isn't the channel of communication I think is adequate for that). If I come to post about it, it'll be only because I feel it is my duty to inform other 2010 (or thereabouts) Plus 4 owners in case they get their windshields cracked too.

Borghi was able to replace mine without any problems; Easy Up type. One small thing that I have noted is that the space under the centre of the screen to the top of the scuttle is slightly more so there is a tendency for the rubber seal to tuck under.

I replaced my screen last year when I had a large stone hit the screen and leave a bullet size star crack in it. great job by the dealer but they had to wait 3 months to get the screen as it was not a stock item for Morgan and were ordered alongside the production car screens.

That's interesting Peter.....as you know, my car leaks there as the rubber seal tucks under. I assumed that it was a variation in body build but perhaps there's a variation in the screens?

I had a batch of screens made up last year I think they worked out at £40 a pair.
There not handed.
If anyone wants any let me know. I need to order them in 20's though.

Just back from collecting my Brooklands after it's annual service....it only took eight weeks.
Why so long I hear you ask, well it was to have the exhaust fix carried out as highlighted by Mario. Trouble was that not all of the parts arrived in the kit. Then some of the parts were found to be the wrong parts.
In the end, and after much effort on my dealers part, they ended up making up parts themselves to get over inherent problems with the brackets.
The ECU flash then wouldn't take and so mine was sent off to the factory to be fettled. Haven't got a full answer to what the flash does either, despite much asking. Probably much as has been speculated in previous posts on this thread.
My pulley was also found to be the cause of an awful whine. Until then I was being told it was just the belt out of alignment. Problem was that the factory were out of stock, oh, and they said my car was out of warranty. My point being that when it was dropped off, at this stage already five weeks earlier, it was very much still under warranty.
In the end my dealer involved Steve Morris who arranged for a pulley. Trouble was it was only partly covered under warranty. Fewer than 5,000 miles, a known problem with the material used but I still had to cough up. I guess I should be happier than some as at least a good proportion of this cost was covered.
I simply don't know how my dealer does it, he seems immune to the grief that I was giving him and cheerfully battles the ongoing fight with the factory to keep his customers on the road, if not entirely happy.
After all I've spent north of £36,000 on a car that is driven on eggshells and with fewer than 5,000 miles on the clock. Taxed and insured it and after eight weeks of not actually being able to drive it, incidentally missing one of the nicest springs in years, only to be presented with a hefty bill for the pleasure.
No criticism of the dealer here, he simply needs to earn a living and would far rather my car wasn't cluttering up his workshop for all that time.
I just hope this exhaust "fix" works because heaven help us 50 owners if it doesn't and we are then well out of warranty.
The steel pulley is instantly quieter, heavy yes, but I can live with that so long as it performs its role in life with reliability.
Fingers crossed and watch this space....
