We use ours a lot as they block any kind of wind or draft. I went away from the heavy leather stuff to the onion layer principle.

Or anything made of fleece. Or any of the pub wear you can buy in sports direct. Or anything Berghus/northface style. Or a baseball cap. Or, unless absolutely blinded. sunglasses and100% never on top of my head.

Harris tweed sports jacket and waistcoat, or an arran jumper, is my cold day wear, short sleeved shirt when it's hot. I have the Morgan cashmere scarf too, it's nice.

Awn, even Tweed has evolved. Caroline's Dad had a pre WW2 Donegal Tweed "sports jacket" that weighed a tone, was water resistant and the fabric was so heavy that it would almost stand up on its own.
Today the jackets are made from lightweight fabric and designed to fit the modern "fashionista" world.

In the colder months I wear the flying jacket, silk scarf wrapped around my neck (brown and white chequered patter bought from BHM) and a distressed leather cap with nape and ear flaps (bought from Lakeland leather), sometimes a beanie. When it gets too warm for the flying jacket I switch to a lighter weight leather jacket. Flat cap or baseball cap in the summer, primarily to protect my head from sunburn and keep the sun out of my eyes.
I don't think it matters what you wear in the Mog, it's whatever works for you, besides people are going to taking more notice of the car than you!
