I bought a sheepskin flying jacket when I first started flying, ( no it wasn't in a Sopwith Camel" However with the excellent heater and the heated seats in the +4 it never seems cold enough to wear it now. I make do with a Mil-Tec German leather flying jacket and a white silk scarf toff

You lot are doing me no good at all. I have been doing everything I can to avoid spending £700 on a large chunk of soft warm furry thing and so far I have resisted.

This thread is doing me no good at all.

Thats a lot of petrol.

Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

My wife and I enjoy wearing ours. Unfortunately they were tailor made to fit other people. Mine is OK, but hers is a little too large. We are saving up for a new one for her.

We wear them whenever we go out in the car unless it's going to be too warm.

However, they are definitely a pain with the four-point racing harnesses; especially for Lesley when her jacket is too large as well.

For me there's nothing that looks as good as they do in a Morgan, especially when you have traditional colours on the car (dark green with brown leather). Nothing comes as close to keeping the wind off either (people keep mentioning they use sidescreens - what are they? :D).

Cheers

Fair enough Joe, that does actually look cool, maybe I'll buy one after all.

Even though I'm quite fond of my mind, I often change it.

In Western Australia, we put a long sleeve T shirt on when it gets cold. Still wear a baseball style Morgan cap to keep the sun out of the eyes.

Fashion !!! I do have a nice pair of OMP driving boots.

Maybe you could get a T-shirt printed to look like a flying jacket.
