...i've never looked at a clock when out in my M3W or in one of my old school hot rods. When the sun starts to go down it's time to head home! High Noon Speed Shop Blog: https://ontheroadtonowhereville.wordpress.com/

The time is never right. Anyone else with this issue? You must be really living up to your 'fast' epithet, Ken. As Einstein predicted, when you approach relativistic speeds, you will notice a slowing of time...

When using the red main switch to disconnect electricity the clock always sets for 12:00. Get yourself an independent clock!

I purchased a little battery clock at Blenheim all Morgans Day last year (afraid I can't remember from whom). Just got round to fitting it. I didn't want it to interfere with the left hand panel but recently realised it could go straight in front of the steering wheel, where it would be easy to read. The clock has a back turning which it plugs into. This could be bolted through the dash panel using a modified Allen bolt as seen in the picture below - basically the head much reduced to clear the clock mechanism and its outer case. This was bolted to the dash, with contact spray adhesive on the back to hold it against loosening on the engine turned panel. Final picture shows it in place. No more fiddling with the silly digital clock. The good thing is that if the clock fails, the whole assembly can be easily removed and revert to the previous condition. Tim
