Does anyone know if any better steering column stalks/switches are available to replace the dreadful original equipment offerings on a 2009 Plus 4.

MK do one, as I believe, do Merz and Pabst.

I think there a at least three different types of aluminium column stalks on the market.

I've seen the first advertised through the Austian Morgan Importer - but I've never seen one in flesh.

The "Merz & Pabst" Design is the most advanced and machined from billet aluminium. Naturally they come at a staggering price, but retain the intermittent wiper function. Moreover they are available in a multitude of finishing styles: black, polished, flat aluminium and anodised in different colors.

The delicate looking ones from Leberfinger / Morganpark Hamburg have a far cheaper looking finish and are bonded to the plastic of the original stalks.

I'd prefer the stalks that are being distributed through Merz & Pabst. They engage with a reassuring "click" and they are a real joy to touch and operate.

Hi All,
Morgan Park too. I think (not sure) that they are all made by the same company, but the levers are made specifically for each dealer.
Don't forget that if you change the combinator, you loss the intermittent wiper feature.
Merz & Pabst and Morgan Park have an option with a separate switch under the dashboard to keep the intermittent wiper.
I will see that in Brussels by the beginning of July, because Morgan Belgium has ordered one for me. If I like it I will buy but only if I can keep the intermittent wiper easily usable.

not seen them, but judging by the quality of something else he did for me it should be good.

Hi.

The first row of pictures on the "MK" website show the stalks I've also found advertised on the website of the Austrian Importer. Second row is the "Morgan Park" type.

More information about the "Merz & Papst" column stalks can be found in their news section of their homepage (http://morgan.merz-pabst.com/news.php) - you've got to click almost through the entire news section, but you'll be rewarded with prices (hold your breath) and a nice brochure (downloadable PDF).
These stalks incorporate the intermittent wiper funktion - no secondary switch is needed.
