First drive in Nero since having to cancel trip to Montlhery earlier this month due to inner ear infection. Nice to get out in it and a good day out at La Vie en Bleu event at Prescott meeting up with Stringers Best Mate, wife and son. Cheered on the three wheelers and in particular Austin and Julia who were giving it some....the car I mean 😜
Always good at Prescott but I can't help think that the French flavour of the event has somewhat lessened over the past few years.

Down to Lymmington - got caught in a heavy shower on the M3 with roof down - Tanya not impressed Not far away from you today David. Had to shuffle some cars around in the garage, so an excuse to take the 4/4 out for 1/2 hour before lunch guests arrived. Sandbanks, Poole Harbour, Branksome Park, Canford Cliffs. 30mph has never felt like such fun.

Nice trip out to Slapton village to ring for a wedding - the first Sunday wedding in a church for me after 20 years ringing.
The sun shone and the threatened rain stayed away so everybody happy.

Meet up with 15 other ThamesMOG Members at the NT River Wey in Guildford for a guided boat trip through the city. Weather was very kind to us, no hoods or side screens needed today.

Well the boss needed more teak oil for the outside table. I was cutting hedges but what the hell. Mog to the rescue after around 1 hr of fun in the sun.

Across Exmoor to Withypool for tea and cake at the tearooms, the owners brother has a Morgan and lives in Wales. Anyone on here ?

Reading the paper the other day - it listed the most expensive towns to buy property - Sandbanks came first and Lymmington came forth. At one time if you won the lottery for a million quid you could buy a mansion and sports cars etc - looking n the local estate agents, now you need to win the lottery twice just to buy a nice house here.

Always good at Prescott but I can't help think that the French flavour of the event has somewhat lessened over the past few years. It is a bit. Possibly something to do with adding La Vita Rossa. Wish you'd been nearby on Sunday lunchtime - there was no-one to grab a photo of me sitting in the green Muira  Next time I hope to have blagged a run up in the nav's seat   And that Carrera4 doesn't half go   Good weekend out  Glad you're able to drive Nero again
